Upholding Equality in Education

TITLE IX

Title IX, a pivotal component of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, was established to ensure that education in the United States remains a realm of non-discrimination. Its core purpose is to promote fairness for all, regardless of gender. The original text and legislative history of Title IX clearly emphasize the importance of equity between women and men in education. However, in certain cases, its interpretation has swayed, resulting in biased campus sexual misconduct tribunals that unfairly presume female students to be "victims" while often discriminating against their male counterparts, portraying them as less credible.

At our firm, we believe in rectifying such injustices. We have extensive experience representing male students at the university level, working diligently to prevent unjust responsibility findings in cases of alleged sexual misconduct. Our advocacy extends to federal District Court lawsuits, where we challenge Title IX sex discrimination and fight for the rights of male students. Furthermore, we are dedicated to seeking justice on appeal, striving to rectify errors made at the District Court level and establish sound Title IX precedent. Our commitment is unwavering, even when our clients face well-financed educational institutions.
